Sean's journey in bodywork and massage therapy began with Reiki. After studying for almost two years in this modality, he received his advanced degree in Reiki healing in the Usui System of Natural Healing from the Usui Reiki Ryoho through the lineage of Lauri Magpali of Eugene, Oregon. After this study, Sean acquired his degree in massage therapy in Eugene, Oregon through the Lane Somatic Therapy Program. During his education, he studied the core practices for massage therapy as well as additional course work in specialties. He extensively studied the applied kinesiology of the upper and lower body, advanced trigger point techniques, as well at the anatomy, physiology, and pathologies of the human body.

After graduation from the program, he decided to specialize his massage practice. Within the Hawaiian Healing Academy (HHA) and under the direction of Kumu Marcia York, he studied both Mana Lomi ® and Mana Lomi Ili'ili ® traditional Hawaiian bodywork. These modalities continue to form the basis of his massage therapy practice.

In 2008, Sean moved to Utah to further pursue his career in massage therapy. As well working in administrative management settings for spas, he developed his private practice into the specialized field of athletic maximization and pain management, working with clients to prevent and treat injury as well as chronic pain. While in Utah, through the accumulation of additional continuing education hours, Sean earned the title of Master Bodyworker.

Since then, he has relocated to form a practice in Eugene, Oregon and continues to work in fields such as: Advanced Trigger Point Work, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Myofascial Release, and other various sports and rehabilitative massage therapy techniques.
